About a month ago i borrowed some books from the library. i was just standing in an isle and there on the shelf right in front of me were some books i was very interested in. The first was "the complete idiots guide to songwriting", the other was a hal leonard Book about theory.
i borrowed both books of course and soon discovered something odd in the pages.

When i started flipping through "the complete idiots guide..." i found old blood stains inside of the book. One page stained with a mass of droplets that had bled through a number of pages. Whoever had borrowed this book before me decided to use his/her blood as a highlighter and underline "[the smile i wear is just a mask.]" The theory book also had a underlined part one word made from another "represented."

i'm pretty sure i'll always wonder just who's blood that is.
